Playing Stake.us from Texas
What Texas testers found at Stake.us
From our verified Texas reviewer tests: real accounts, real purchases. None of our three Texas testers described a completed cash redemption, so we have no measured Texas payout time yet.
ID verification is required before you can play: all three Texas testers hit it
Every one of our three Texas tests (2026-09-23) recorded an identity check at signup, before any play. Two testers still scored account creation 9 and 10; the third scored it 5, the lowest signup score in the cell.
“Stake’s signup process is fast, you do need to verify your ID in order to start playing.”
“Account creation was very easy, but identification was required in order to continue with the site, so I went ahead and accomplished that and played a few slots.”
Slot quality impressed: one tester said the games "don't feel like slots or even casino at all"
Game-quality scores were 9, 10 and 9 across our three Texas testers. One played three slots back to back (Fish, Unleashed Chaos, Le Catcher) and found the production quality consistent; another noted the casino and poker modes, with live dealers and scratch cards alongside the slots.
“Stake.us is an impressive casino gaming site that offers a great selection of high-quality games with the addition of poker, and most of them are slots, but the quality of these games is so outstanding that they don’t feel like slots or even casino at all.”
“My first game was titled Fish, fisherman themed slot game with amazing graphics and was genuinely fun to play.”
“Stake has two game modes, casino and poker, which include slot machines, live dealers, poker, scratch cards, etc.”
Live chat support was active and helpful, and the layout scored 8 to 10 for usability
The one Texas tester who used support rated it 10 out of 10 and also found a semi-active player chat. Usability scores across the three tests were 10, 9 and 8.
“There was an active live chat support which was incredibly helpful, along with a gamer chat that was semi-active.”
“The design and layout of the site is top-notch, very simple and accessible.”
“The games were easy to navigate, and I enjoyed spending time exploring the different options available.”
One tester found rewards thin enough to cut her session short
One of our three Texas testers scored signup, usability and game options 10 out of 10 but overall only 7, because her session returned few rewards and she found it harder to stay engaged. She still described the experience as enjoyable.
“While I enjoyed the games, I didn’t receive many rewards back during my play.”
“The limited rewards made it a little harder to stay engaged for a longer session, but I still found the overall experience enjoyable.”

What it is
Stake.us is a sweepstakes casino operated by Sweepsteaks Limited. You play with a free virtual currency, and a second, promotional currency is what can be redeemed. Stake.us excludes some states under its own published terms; see the At a Glance table for current eligibility.
What our reviewers measured
We have no verified reviewer tests on Stake.us yet. Our testers are working through it now, and this page will carry measured purchase and redemption scores as soon as that evidence exists. Until then, everything below comes from Stake.us's own published terms.
Playing free
Where Stake.us operates, the signup offer is shown in the current offer box. No purchase is necessary to take part, and the operator's rules set out an alternative method of entry. Coin packages are optional and only ever buy the free-play currency.
Worth knowing
Illinois gaming board issued a cease-and-desist letter to stake/stake.us on 2026-02-04 (source: igb.illinois.gov/.../20260204-cease-and-desist-stake-stake-us.pdf), determining its activity constitutes illegal gambling under illinois law Terms change often, so read the operator's current rules before playing.
The full Stake.us Texas review
Three Texas reviewers tested Stake.us on September 23, 2026, and scored it 8.0, far above its national 6.2 across nine tests in six states. Texas testers were impressed by what they played. Game quality scored 9.3, usability 9.0 and support a perfect 10 from the one tester who used it. Their scores were 9, 8 and 7. Stake.us asks for more up front than most sites, though: every Texas tester had to verify their ID before they could play anything. Three tests on a single day is a narrow sample, so read this as a first look.
Verify first, then play
All three Texas tests recorded an identity check at signup, before any play. One tester said the signup itself was fast, but you must verify your ID in order to start playing. Another found account creation very easy but had to complete identification to continue. Account creation scored 8.0, with two testers scoring it highly and the third much lower.
In our testing a check this early has an upside. Your identity is already confirmed if you win, so a redemption should not stall on paperwork later.
Games that do not feel like slots
The Texas testers' strongest praise was for game quality. One said the games were so well made they did not feel like slots, or even casino games, at all. Stake.us has two modes, casino and poker, covering slots, live dealers, poker and scratch cards. Another tester played three slots back to back and found the quality consistent. Game range scored 8.7.
The design also landed well. One tester called the layout top-notch, simple and accessible. Another found the games easy to navigate and the play smooth, with no major issues.
Support and community
The tester who contacted support found live chat active and incredibly helpful, and also noticed a semi-active player chat. Support scored 10.
A small free start
The free offer is modest. New accounts receive 10,000 Gold Coins and 1 Sweepstakes Coin. One tester found that their session returned few rewards, which made it harder to stay engaged for long. They still described the experience as enjoyable and scored it 7.
No Texas tester described a completed cash redemption, so we have no measured Texas payout time yet.
Who runs it
Stake.us is operated by Sweepsteaks Limited, a Cyprus company. It excludes a long list of states, including Pennsylvania. Texas is not among them.

Our verdict for Texas players
Stake.us offers some of the best-made games our Texas testers have played, with poker alongside the casino and genuinely helpful live chat. We recommend it to Texas players who care most about game quality and are happy to verify their ID before they start. The 1 SC free start is thin, so do not expect a long free session. Pulsz scored 8.2 across 25 Texas tests and has the longer redemption record.
